TA/GC if you are as old as you claim to be then you should know that you did not get banned for saying beaner. That was just one more piece of stale straw on the camel's back. The slur really didn't offend me in the slightest, YOU and your childish snarkiness are what offends me. You make a joke of EVERY thing, except where you can count on other trolls to make a joke of it for you. In all probability you didn't post any specific comment deserving of being banned, but you lacked judgment and showed up in a thread you had no place (seeing as you had no book suggestions to add) on the day/week when the moderator finally had enough of another obnoxious poster twisting many other threads in retarded directions.

You also knew EXACTLY what you were doing throwing a Mexican slur, presenting your comment as a backhanded compliment, leaving yourself a backdoor of childish excuses. This much more than the slur itself is what betrays your sorry thirst for attention. More than that you saw something that hadn't been mutated into racial strife and took it onto yourself to try and bait the thread in that direction.

I would only hope to diminish the hurt value of these silly words ....I had no choice where I was born or to which ethnic group I would belong to ..But if I did My lifes history would indicate that the choice would have been Hispanic as I have been drawn to it for decades and finally it is with pride people in America to where I am also an immigrant can be Hispanic with pride in their accomplishments....I would say to my two kids Yaina and Jean Luis dont go down that I am a victim road.......it leads nowhere
