Questions to the manny haters..... How many times did Manny go back on his word to playing wihth the DR>???/ How many times have you seen him with head/wrist bands with our flag on ?? [QUOTE]If I may, I am not a Manny hater but I don't like him much because I think the guy is as ignorant as they come. That said, this is the difference between a Manny hater and myself: A hater will never give his talents credit because they are too busy hating the man. I, on the other hand, can honestly tell you that to me, Manny is one of the greatest baseball player born in the DR, if not the greatest. The numbers don't lie, even of most haters don't care to see them. Now, about Relampago Hernandez......Man, why are you doing this to me, making me remember that dummy?. JAJAJA. Once, when I was a young kid, I was taken to Eugenio Maria De Hostos and that moron didn't want to shake my little hand when walking to the ring, even gave me a "get away from me before I kill you, kid" look. Thank God Jack Veneno kicked his butt!. JAJAJA. Edited on 3/12/2009 6:40 PM by TuPapaupa. I am "An Army Of One" ![]() Come Get Some!!. |

Today we can realize that it was all a marketing strategy and that probably he and Jak were good friends...... On the Manny issue, I agree , a top talent he is.....but why do you call him ignorant? I would say La Negra Pola was ignorant, but I dont think you can say that about Manny... in fact , I think he is pretty smart! People tend to think that people they dont like are all kinds of negative things which may or may not be true. It is just a projection of their feelings! For e.g. I hate O'Reilly and have called him stupid on occasions, which he obviously isnt..... But I would find it interesting to see what you base your assesment of Manny's ignorance is./.... |

I don't know if that's true or not but in the second game there was a situation were Alou sent his son in to pinch hit when he had much more proven and fresh talent on the bench availbale to him. I havent heard that particular complaint about Don Felipe, but he carries great credentials as a manager, and I have to believe that all managers have their 'carita', its a natural human thing! |

Definitely human nature but if you're not bringing up the best guy from the bench when the situation calls for it then you're not doing your job correctly. But again I'm not saying that's necessarily the case with Alou, only that I've heard as much from the rumor mills. "If you're going through hell, keep going." - Winston Churchill |

About Ramirez ignorance, let's just say it's my opinion but I must tell you that if you spend 20 minutes talking to him, unless very "calm and collected", you'll know what I am talking about. But, who cares, his baseball talent is amazing. Edited on 3/13/2009 2:35 PM by TuPapaupa. I am "An Army Of One" ![]() Come Get Some!!. |
