okay us Dominicans are famous for being known for our sayings and quotes. We use them to answer people were always saying something so tell me your most favourite refranes Dominicano!

It sounds cowardly in the extreme, but check this one out:

It's often used when one is faring badly on a college subject, meaning that it's best to retire while there's still a chance than flunking the subject outright.
