Don't you see? We don't need a wall; what we need is a battalion of the "Ejercito Nacional" to take over prime beachfront properties in Haiti. We also need Dominican Industrialists to front the money to develop these lands. Doing so by employing the indigenous populace while retaining control of the upper tier position. This would encourage Haitians to stay "in-situs" rather than crossing the border to our side. This scheme would provide massive revenues back to the DR for years to come.
The solution to our problems is to turn Haiti into a Dominican Protectorate...

They have a huge population of skilled; but unemployed workers that could form the backbone of our enterprises.
