RE: Jean Jacques Dessalines: Slaughter of whites
I' am trying really hard to see your point, it looks like you are trying to depict the General as a monster, clipping through sentences. I want to make this short so let me tell you. Yes he was a monster and we will never apologized for how he got Ayiti and blacks free. After what Napoleon did to Toussaint; as Dessaline quoted. The only good White man is the one willing to shoot a bad one. I would bet my life, this was not put together by a Haitian. I would like you to know that there are many little Dessaline out there ready to fight, to protect, and defend Mother Ayiti. You can really do yourself a favor by educating yourself about Ayiti, but then again you would never see the light.

Dessalines was indeed a gifted leader...and a mass murderer to boot. You can't block the sun with a finger.

Let me enlight you a bit, victory is never fair from the enemy's perspective when he is vanquish in battlefield.
Once the french were sujugated, they had no choice but to resort to the good old pen to magnify Haitians savegery. At the sametime since most of the French soldiers were affacted with syphillis due to beastiality, they were only able to tap their short term memory. When those books that you are refering to were published, their diseased brains could not remember the 100,000,000 Africans who perished during slavery not to mention cutting female slaves bellies open while still alive to satisfy those European ex-con thirst for blood.

Listen, I sympathize with your point of view, I really do. But I'm not looking at history through the eyes of a Haitian, I'm looking at it through the eyes of someone that is of Dominican descent. Your greatest hero is one of our history's greatest villains.

You could say whatever you want. No one could change your mind. We can only establish the truth here that Dessalines was fighting primarily to liberate the whole island from the Spanish latifundistas who took over big plantations for themselves and distribute land to small farmers in that part of the island which was not the Dominican Republic then. That's called 'Class Struggle'. If Dessalines were to write a book about the Haitian Slave Revolution he led to victory, he would have been the first to popularize this term of 'Class Struggle' not Karl Marx. Dessalines was way ahead of his time. He was still very young (48 years old) when he was assassinated in a conspiracy by Petion. Again, he is the GREATEST LEADER IN WORLD HISTORY. In small Haiti, He led a revolution that put a dramatic end to the Slave System worldwide. The only reason you have a Dominican Republic today is because of Haiti and Dessalines. BE APPRECIATIVE!!!

Boca de Cacaona Mamona!!! You actually have written something that i agree with 99% but of coarse it was too good to be true because everytime you write something so good you screw it up with something just like what you put at the end.
