LOLOL...try getting the protein you need to even think clearly by living off of vegetables. As a matter of fact try living solely off of lettuce for a few days and tell me how that goes. Mr. C. as always I have to conclude that you are an idiot.

That achieves to goals. They eat less and they save money.

It needs health services, free or low rent houing, more local food production, more to pigs eat and less overweight fat capitalist pigs! ABC200

Hmm, checkout the high levels of obesity among the "fat welfare pigs" and the poorer people! And the upper middle and upper classes must eat less as there is far less obesity among them….kind of messes with your warped, biased view….

This "comeback" regarding "fat welfare pigs" is extremely revealing as it indicates elitism on the part of the poster and total ignorance as to why obesity is a problem among the poor here in the US and it's simple: the cheapest (typically processed) foods here have high caloric value and low nutritional value. Who buys the cheapest foods? Drumb roll please. The poor. What I've just related is a problem that nutritionists here have been trying to address for some time because it is indeed the less fortunate, through their lack of healthy choices, that are suffering the consequences of a sub standard diet courtesy of the useless FDA. You can look that up William. There's plenty of literature on this stuff.

BULL!!!!
Vegetables are cheaper than process foods.
Lettuce costs less than hamburger.

Liberals are all the same. It is never the individuals fault,
Obesity is not the fault of the person who eats too much crap
Welfare mothers are not the fault of the slut who spread her legs without protection
The crackhead is not a crackhead for picking up that pipe for the first time.

RE: Venezuela officially has the highest min. wage in Latin America (30% increase)
Venezuela, with the highest minimum wage in all of South America in May 2008, now acknowledges that a one min. wage earning household cannot afford 40% of basic needs due to inflation. Annual inflation rate in Venezuela is over 30%, the largest increase in over 12 years (Chavez is entering his 11th year as president). The government controls, imports, production, MERCALS (subsidized food stores), currency exchange, price controls for goods sold and this has still happened, how can that be. Every good Socialist knows thats not the way its supposed to work !

Trying to stick to the thread topic here but I could not resist. Go to your local supermarket and buy an all vegetarian diet for a full week, they go buy a normal diet for a full week. The vegetarian is more expensive!! True vegetarians are condiserably "skinny" compared to most but I do not see them dying in the street because of the lack of protein.
