Sounds as if poverty has halved in the last 5 years in Venez, Soya bean production massivley up. Sunflower increasing. Although it could be better some congratulations are due to the team in Venez.

ABC,

YOu should really READ the articles before you comment on them. They DO NOT produce enough Soy bean for themselves nor Sunflowers for. The article says they need to START growing them to become self-suffecient which they are a long way from being.

In the same period, soybean production increased significantly from 5,680 tons to 60,180 tons (959 percent) while the production of sunflower grew from 5,600 tons to 15,500 tons (176 percent), but their growth came only in 2006-2007.
