There is a lot of thing that Dominican don't know or visit if you go online you will find place in DR that average Dominican in/out of the country haven't heard about. When i heard the new slogan "Dominican Republic has everything" I was like finally somebody said it because it does. Most people think we only have a beach and merengue but there is a lot more to see and explore on your next trip i would recomend you rent a car and get a map and go explore the whole country like i did in 2006 i was there for 1 1/2 month going from town to town everyday and asking locals about atractions. I couldn't believe my selft how much stuff there is really. I didn't really knew all the towns i just drove around the whole country for 2 weeks at a time. This web site has some great stuff you can do when you go there : www.dr-adventures.com but there is a lot more to explore. I think DT should set up meet of all the users to go there at once and call it DT Members Tours i'm sure there is a lot folks here that know a lot of different areas i haven't heard of.
