It's quite nice and refreshing to go, like a break from the normal madness. The entrance fee is RD$20 pesos for residents or RD$60 for foreigners, so bring your cedula if your accent is funny or you look like a tourist! It's open from 9 AM to 5 PM. It's also a great place if you like photography. I did have a little problem last time I went since I wanted to take a picture of my girlfriend in the Japaneese Garden and a watchman came to me and told me that I can only be in that part of the park for 10 minutes, unless I pay RD$ 1000 pesos so then I can take all the time I want. I still didn't confirm this, and as usual there's no notice or instructions at the entrance so who knows... Other than that it's a wonderfull place, you may even go to do a picnic or just a relaxing walk. Here I let you two pictures I took last time I was there: Japanese Garden: ![]() A random flower: ![]() Edited on 3/31/2008 10:16 AM by mito125. |

Theese months are soooo hot that a walk in the park doesn't excite me to much I also hope to go there soon to snap some more pics! DaniDR Living in the Paradise |
