For those of you who live in Santo Domingo, you may wan't to try the Botanical Garden in Santo Domingo. It's quite nice and refreshing to go, like a break from the normal madness.

The entrance fee is RD$20 pesos for residents or RD$60 for foreigners, so bring your cedula if your accent is funny or you look like a tourist! It's open from 9 AM to 5 PM. It's also a great place if you like photography.

I did have a little problem last time I went since I wanted to take a picture of my girlfriend in the Japaneese Garden and a watchman came to me and told me that I can only be in that part of the park for 10 minutes, unless I pay RD$ 1000 pesos so then I can take all the time I want. I still didn't confirm this, and as usual there's no notice or instructions at the entrance so who knows...

Other than that it's a wonderfull place, you may even go to do a picnic or just a relaxing walk. Here I let you two pictures I took last time I was there:

There are thousands of nice pictures to make at the Rafael Moscoso Botanical Garden and it is always a pleasure to visit this super place I have been there two times since I live in DR and I will go again next year.

I haven't been there in a while. Theese months are soooo hot that a walk in the park doesn't excite me to much

I also hope to go there soon to snap some more pics!

The Botanitcal Garden is very nice. . I took my wdding pics there and the scenery is totally beautiful.
