Please try to contribute to Google Map Maker by mapping additional streets and neighborhoods in the Dominican Republic, and editing incorrect ones.

The more contributions they receive for the Dominican Republic the quicker it will become an official part of Google Maps.

At the moment the Dominican Republic is not on Google Maps. Please pass on the word. This would be very useful for tourists and locals.

Also the city of La Romana should be on Google maps! Good idea...

Look at GoogleMaps now! The DR's capital is already zoomable! You can see the street names, the store locations, roads, towns, etc. You will get very useful information as a traveler!

Actually, the whole country is zoomable! You can look at each city's towns, street names, ways to go, store locations, etc.!

We are all better of by contributing to http://www.openstreetmap.org/ that way once is done we can load it into a gps of our choice for free instead of giving away work to google who is going to sale it to us later on.
