Sushi restaurants in the DR
Does anybody know of sushi restaurants in the DR? And if so, whats your experience with them?
Aruing on the internet is like playing chess with a chicken. No matter how good I am at chess; the chicken is just going to knock over all the pieces, crap all over the board and strut around like it's victorious.

Hi Hollanda,

Check out this bar/restaurant guide for Santo Domingo, specifically the sushi restaurants section. I don't know if these are any good but most of them are located in well-to-do areas so hopefully the quality and taste is not bad.

I have a rule of thumb, don't go to KFC and order a hamburger. And you will never be disappointed in the meal.

Yes, I agree, however, I was hoping you would say just as good as food served in Italy.......?
But nevertheless, I understand what you mean, I have also had great Italian food in the most humblest hole in the wall, all over the greater, tri-state metropolitan area.

To get good Italian food from Italy you would have to go to Italy for that

Forget about it! and the "list", there is only one good sushi restaurant in the DR, and that is "Samurai Restaurant" , who is the only one that has Dominican-Japanese sushi chefs, who maintain the tradition.
The rest are just bad imitations.
