I live in Sosua and have property in Cabrera and make the trip often. I like that area. Not much tourism which brings in all the dirtbags that live off the tourists but the Rio San Juan does not suffer from this in any way close to Sosua. Only problem with Rio San Juan is that there isn't a vibrant expat community or many activities other than beaches that we have all over the island. Gri Gri is nice and nice to look at but what else is there? The place I really want to go to is Miches and will go there shortly. I love the entire country and tour it every week. Saturday I was in Luperon via off road motorcycles with a bunch of friends. Great trip it was. Escott Edited on 4/29/2008 6:40 PM by Escott. |
