As you know exercise "caveat emptor" before renting and make sure that the car runs well and will not give you problems, for this you will need some type of mechanical "nose" or instinct to check the car over beforehand. Prices are not set in stone and you can haggle. Ignorance is temporary, stupidity lasts forever. |

I was thinking about hijacking this thread which is usually the norm for me being the homosexual troll that i am, but I had nothing opposing to say because i am running out of troll statements. I am contemplating getting off of this website because i have been getting it handed to me by these powerful Dominican speakers. Being the pajaro that i am who likes being abused i need more submission. I couldnt agree more. I do think you should ban yourself because you offer no help to the posters. Conocer al cojo sentao! Order your car from the rental places in front of el cibao airport... These guys will take the car to you anywhere in DR, most are in great shape. There are some shady rental places so try to use one that a friend has already used. Don't go for the lowest price. A buddy went for the lowest price and when he arrived no one picked him up. But it might be better for you to rent from a place close to the airport |

It's much cheaper to rent a car than to take taxi's all over the island. We learned this out the hard way and ended up paying a fortune on cab fare. The next time we travel to the Caribbean or Puerto Rico, we are going to get a rental car. emergency seed bank |

If you rent you also have to factor in fuel costs. But it is much better to have your rental car so you could move around at anytime. |
