RE: Most Beautiful Language in the world
Interesting thread.

I LOVE Brazilian Portuguese but some accents are more attractive to me than others. I spent a summer at school in Salvador (Bahia) in the Northeast and the accent was WAY different than the typical Sao Paulo for sure. The Carioca (Rio) accent seemed closer but still different. I found the Paulista accents to be more nasal and boring. Not an "official" observation, just my experience.

Bahia on the other hand felt mad Caribbean, and I felt right at home with the way people talked, walked, ate, touched/embraced etc. I've never been to DR but Bahia felt lot like what I would imagine DR to be like, but with no Haitians; if they were there it woulda been absolutely perfect for me. This one of the reasons why I think I'll fall madly in DR whenever I actually get there!

In any case. My favorites languages are the following; although I'm sure there are TONS i've never even heard:

1. Kreyol- langue mamanm!
2/3. Tied btwn Brazilian Portuguese (NE or RIO) and some Dominican Spanish to which I've had exposure
4. English- naturally
5. French - Kreyol pt. 2

Italian is hot too. I have varying levels of knowledge for the first five ranging from fluent to basic. I can at least get around and read in all of them. Like someone else said this kinda background helps one understand and read at least a little Italian.

1-Dominican Spanish....with all our accents and regionalisms..I don't care what those f.... Colombians or Venezuelans say...
2-Brasileiro.....Saudade...
3-French, its my third tongue..
4-Italian cause its just a lot of fun to argue outloud in it.
Although I learned English very young, I still dont like it. Its too robotic, cold and boring form...Sorry Will..lol

RE: Most Beautiful Language in the world
Well you're already speak spanish, the two languages aren't so different in the Grammar. It will be easier for you than someone from the USA to learn french. English is easy because they use only a,an,the so it's kind of hard for them but for you it's gonna be " un jeu d'enfant"

Les Colombes Blanches
Las Palomas Blancas

Not so different at all.

Los/Las = Les
Uno/Una=Un/Une
