Well you're already speak spanish, the two languages aren't so different in the Grammar. It will be easier for you than someone from the USA to learn french. English is easy because they use only a,an,the so it's kind of hard for them but for you it's gonna be " un jeu d'enfant"

Les Colombes Blanches
Las Palomas Blancas

Not so different at all.

Los/Las = Les
Uno/Una=Un/Une

Thanks for the language lesson....
Kiss it! And Love it! Hah!

I would have to say French, English, Italian, Portugese and Caribbean patois - such as that spoken in Jamaica.

RE: Most Beautiful Language in the world
Well that is quite not true. The same way european portuguese evolved, brazilian portuguese also suffered many influences from africa dialects and native brazilian dialects for that matter, which are quite obvious if I must say. It is true that brazilian portuguese conserved certain aspects of archaic portuguese (well, just like EU portuguese did) but the grammar of standard brazilian portuguese is much simpler than the one from european portuguese. For example most brazilians exclusively use "você" for both formal and informal dialogue while european portuguese makes a distinction between the use of "você"(formal) and "tu"(informal). Something similar happens with the use of the geround(equivalent of present continuous) in which while brazilian only uses this form (for example "andando" in european portuguese they also use the geround sometimes but use preferibly the form "a + infinitive of the verb" ("a andar" which equals "andando".
Another good example is how brazilian only uses proclisis, while european portuguese not only uses proclisis, but also uses enclisis and even mesoclisis(which consists on separating the verb stem and its ending and putting the pronoum in the middle, and it's used in the future and conditional tenses)
And when it comes to vocabulary the difference is even greater ;P
And then there's always the Normative Portuguese thaught in Brazil that resembles the UE portuguese( a more fomal portuguese?!), thus diverging from actual spoken brazilian portuguese...

Funny, how you literally picked the languages in order of the most consonant-friendly to the most vowel-friendly, that is, assuming you were reffering to BR portuguese 'cause EU portuguese is much more nasal and similar to french.
I do love Eu portuguese (well that's why i know a few things about it) but I really must say that french simply hooked me XD
At first I tought it was a bit hard (well, it is hard, at least harder than english) but it definitely grew on me and I absolutely love it. i also have recently developed an interest in German XD
The one language i really don't like is spanish, it's so boring and dull... Which is really sad 'cause I love going to Spain and so far I find spanish people to be really friendly and warm... i always feel like I'm home. Spain rocks, it's language, not so much
