Santo Domingo.- The controverter reverend Sun Myung Moon arrives today in the Dominican Republic, as part of his world tour of 100 cities in 67 countries, in call to a Universal Federation for Peace.
This federation, according to a press notice by its representation in DR, "represents the start of a new stage in the development of work, marked by the establishment of a Council for Peace in the World network, at the global, regional and national levels, and the creation of an Special Initiative Force for Peace, that calls to volunteers worldwide to commit to peace with programs being built in the places of conflict in the world."
Sun Myung Moon travels in the company of his wife, Hak Ja Han Moon.
The reverend, a native of Korea, has been a controversial figure in the United States, stemming from his handling of his church’s funds and the performance of mass marriages.
