SANTO DOMINGO.- Two Israelis accused of trespassing on private property in Samaná were brought yesterday to the Dominican Capital, where they are being questioned as to the origin of their military equipment. including communications geographic location, and night viewing.

Levy Alom and Tatroashvili Meir arrived in the country presumably from Miami and the authorities suspect that they were in the country to carry out some special task which they did not reveal.

For his part, the lawyer Plinio Jacobo denounced that three Israelis were arrested in his property, specifying that last Sunday the 6th, the foreigners evicted an employee from a house he owns in the beach at Rincon, Samaná (northeast), and that they were accompanied by four private guards.

Jacobo stated that he went to his house with authorities, and as the foreigners resisted leaving the residence, resulted in the arrest of two of the three.

I have also been the victim of prpoerty invasion in the same area as Ddr. Jacobo. The man behind these Isralies is Mr. Joe Edward Cooper, an American, residing in Samana. Mr. Cooper has several cases pending in court whefor the same offense, property invasion. My question to the authorities is this, How can you continue to let a man like this cause havoc in your country to Dominican property owners and not deport him or put him in jail. Is he paying some official?

Dr. F.A.,

You indicate that this type of activity happened to you; but neither you nor this article answers to the intent of the culprits. What do they want?

It looks like a covert operation.
I read sometimes back in The New Zealand Herald, that the NZ authorities arrested some Israelis in a bizzare passport stealing scam. You know, using those passports to carry out evil jobs!
Immediately after the Hariri killing, "Police in Lebanon looking for twelve Australians", were the headlines..
No ! I definitely believe no Australian is that crooked. The operation bore resemblance of a Mossad ops.

The foto appears to be US Border Patrol agents arresting an ilegal Mexican, most probably along the MX/USA border. Regarding Dr. F.A.s comment of people creating havoc in the country is humorous, and those in such activities should be deported..What is to be said about all the undesirable Latinos,Asians, Arabs in the NY/NJ area not to mention the rest of the good ol' USA. Deport them all! That is the solution Dr FA? Get real. Paying off officails is a serious charge, name the offical involved.

To update a bit about this, Dr. Plinio Jacobo that had the problem with these Israelites sent by Mr. Cooper to allegedly assassinate Dr.Plinio Jacobo with whom he was court litigation over land located in playa Rincon, Samaná, was reported missing after leaving on a yacht and apparently sank and exploded. His wife being dead, drowned and a relative of Dr. Plinio who also drowned. Dr. Plinio Jacobo is still missing and his body has not been found. His case still has many doubts about the event on Thursday 7 January 2010.
