Looks great so far. Have to agree with Blanco. It appears that the owners are a bit more professional and reasonable so I doubt it will twist in the wrong direction.
Best of luck!

You both are very optimistic.

I hope the debates don't deteriorate as they seem to have done on some other stories in this new formatted Dominican Today. It would be a loss if that happens. Also give these stories a long enough shelf life so that some of us who can't visit that often can catch up.
From: United States
to Juansantodomingo; the old format seemed to have been characterised by a certain civility in the exchanges. people were passionate about their viewpoints, but expressed them with a respect for the fact that other posters have a right to hold divergent opinions. for some bizarre reason, yet undeciphered by me, this format seems to attract the category of posters whom i like to call INTERNET HOOLIGANS. they do not see these fora as a medium for learning from the wisdom of others, however humble it may be. they see themselves as the arbiters of all knowledge, and as having the God -given right to insult and tyrannise those who dare to disagree with them. schoolboy -style name calling and invective is a new phenomenon, which i hope will not last. also, i agree with you that the shelf life of the stories is far too short, especially when compared to the old format. surely there must be a way to rectify that. otherwise, its a wonderful upgrade on the old way of doing things. good luck.

I just think that this new format has a few estetic problems... for example the ads bar on the right where the exchange rates are posted needn't be that big. Its just my opinion but it doesn't look that professionnal.

picky, picky, picky, buenoha. in most circles we like to call that GROWING PAINS!
