SANTO DOMINGO- The two crocodiles which have haved roamed the La Isabela and Ozama rivers since Tropical Storm Noel swelled those waters in October, were seen last Sunday in the sector La Arenita, in the Puya de Arroyo Hondo, They were seen again at dawn  yesterday, on a wooden bridge where they tried to attack a dog, said Francisco Jose Regalado, 16, quoted by the newspaper Diario Libre.

He said while he was at church in reading the Bible with other brothers, near 3 a.m., they heard a racket and went to the gorge’s edge where they both saw crocodiles trying trap two dogs. "In the bridge, when the dog jumped in, they jumped in after them.”

In addition, Carmito de los Santos, 60, swore he saw one of the crocs last Sunday, which he said was of a "good size."

The newspaper Diario Libre’s reporters were there when two men arrived who said they work for the National Zoo, which sent them to catch the crocodiles "without mistreating them."

Obviously this is due to the recent storms and flooding, lets hope that parents warn their children and teach them what to do in case they stumble upon one of these creatures. If they will attack dogs they will certainly attack humans.

Hey we should train these Crocs, and breed as many as we can to catch all the criminals in the streets, they (criminals) are all really just a bunch of chickens anyway, so the Crocs will spot them right away. The Crocs can be used as Watchi Crocs at all bank locations, and we can train them to sniff out all corrupt workers in Gov, as they enter & leave the work place. I would bet that they will do a mutch better job, and they will do it at a very cheap salary. Just give them a couple of cows per month as payment for there valuable service for Justice & Mankind......SAVE THE CROCS!!!

I wan't one of those croc's! Unlike when you contract a wachiman, a croc won't end up robbing you. Plus, you get to carry it with you so no mugglers try to rob you. On the other side, I don't think they work well with women.
