HAVANA.- President Leonel Fernandez arrived at the Jose Martí airport close to noon and was received yesterday by the Cuban Foreign Ministry protocol director Angel Reigosa and by the Dominican ambassador in Havana, Daniel Guerrero.

Fernandez met yesterday with the members of the Chair Juan Bosch, where he stressed the extinct leader and former president’s importance and weight of his social thought.

The chief executive will participate today in the Petrocaribe Summit, to be held in the city Cienfuegos and in which 17 other heads of State who are part of the agreement will participate.

Yesterday, in the Chair Juan Bosch, in Havana, Fernandez praised the ex- Dominican chief executive’s contribution, describing him as the figure with the highest density within the social thought in the country history.

I think that any positive step of Leonel F., most be supported because everybody has noticed that his thoughts and good intentions are going toward a better posterity of our country, and I like it a lot!
