Santo Domingo.- A Dominican Today reader is asking for help to locate her boyfriend, Jose Crespo, height around 5' 9 or 5' 8, and has a big black dragon tattoo on his left arm.

The original message:

“Dear Sir or Madam,

I'm a foreigner in US and I met my boyfriend there who is a Dominican. He flied back to Dominican Republic for business.

On Dec 19 morning, he called back to me said he finished the business and would fly back to Miami the next day and he would call me that night and told me the flight he would take and let me make sure to have time to pick him up at the airport.

But then, I lost the contact with him. I don't know what to do to find him. We love each other very much and have many plans for the future. But I only know his name and have a small photo of him.

Could you do me a big favor to find him? Or give me some advice on how to do. Thank you very much.”

Please check with the airline your boyfriend was scheduled to use. If they have no record of him taking that flight perhaps he made other arrangements. Try to verify his flight number and check the passenger list of that flight. If there was no record of him purchasing a ticket, and if there is no news of a delayed or diverted flight then he might have changed his plans and simply neglected to inform you.

Not to be rude or anything but.... How long have you known him? Seems like you just met because you stated you only know his name, How can you love someone with just knowing a name? What business he's in? sounds like a Dealer or a Sanky Panky to me, Have you checked the Jails in the DR, and or Police reports?

I was thinking the Dude's probably still working en "La officina" by San Isidro who knows after all he is Dominican right. I also don't mean to be rude, in light of the situation.. I apologize.

Well, needless to say. Could it also be that this person owes her money?and she wants to locate the man.
Since we are all putting our 5cents in.
Dear Lady, is very questionable that a man may disappear out of the blue. the best suggestions are already offered by some of the commentators.
My suggestion is prayer. For whatever reason you are looking for him, pray and God will answer.

Hey I don't mean to be rude either....but this reads like a prank!!!

1. Lady either he used you and than went back to his old flame, and kids in DR to stay.
2. He got arrested in DR or coming back here in the U.S. over the holidays.
3. And finally maybe his business partners gave him a nice Xmas Bonus, and he decided to go to Hawaii instead.

Good Luck...and next time just go back to the Airline, just to verify that he was on the plane coming back on that date.
