SANTO DOMINGO. - The Presidency’s adviser on Drugs yesterday warned that “explosive information” could surface from the slander trial against senator Wilton Guerrero, on charges filed by Police general Hilario González, in connection with the killings in Paya, Baní (south).

Nevertheless Marino Vinicio Castillo said it’s a “minor” case of libel which can shed light on drug trafficking and the massacre in Baní, said to involve large amounts of drugs and money. “Those slander proceedings, that I call minor, have the enchantment that sometimes contribute very explosive components for major cases.”

Citing the trial on the case of the Colibrí helicopter as an example, Castillo said “very grave” things which can have some type of meaning in other procedings, such as the case in New York against Dominican Army ex captain Quirino Ernesto Paulino.

Vincho always seems to have "Explosive Information" and yet it never arrives.

The senator should be a national hero who was one of the few that had the courage to speak out against criminal activities in high places (while the Prez LF remains silent). The police and DNCD do NOT really care about what happens especially in poorer barrios. Their work in only "window dressing". I am not speaking from 2nd hand information and rumors. I have been in their offiices many times with other community activist... The RD officials in power do NOT care about doing their jobs of law enforcement. I too, had a hard time coming to grips with the hard reality that these men are more concerned about staying in offices and riding in gas guzzling Jeepetas (looking at cute chicas) rather than doing the job they are paid to do. Lower level police & DNCD only come around to shake down street drug dealers of their share of drug profits.

The above is the RD reality. All else is just 'show boating proproganda". Thank God for the Senator. I wish Fannin had more courage!

I’m sick and tired of Vincho’s explosives information. Why doesn’t he come up with an arrest or a raid, something other than allegation and bochinches that don’t accomplish anything; The latest info has to do with some Colombian drug lords doing business from luxury villas and high end hotel rooms in Santo Domingo. Why instead of running his mouth he has some of this people busted or place under investigation.

Vincho believes in what is good for Vincho.

He could care less about the DR. All he cares about is getting more clients for his law firm.
