Santiago.- In a joint operation several Police departments seized one million counterfeit dollars in a house of the residential Florencia, on the highway to Matanzas.

During the raid of one of the apartments, police agents arrested Norberto Hipólito González, whereas Erick Nicolas and another unidentified person fled the scene.

The Police also seized a gallon of red ink, paper and machineries used to make the bills.

Cordero Paredes, Police public relations chief in this locality, said the money was taken to the Office of the Prosecutor of this city, and noted that the money was counterfeited to pass off in December, when bussiness and shopping are more dynamic.
