SANTO DOMINGO.- Justice minister Radhamés Jiménez said Thursday the response to the case of the killings in Bani will be forceful, although he’s concerned with the many members of the Navy implicated in the alleged rip-off of 1,200 kilos of cocaine and RD$15 million.

He affirmed that as promised, the authorities are widening the investigation and providing a response. "I believe that it’s of concern for society in a general sense.”

There are more than 20 arrests and at least one fugitive wanted for the August  4  slaughter in Peravia province, when seven Colombians and one Nicaraguan, who survived, were taken to a cane field and executed in the village Ojo de Agua.

Oh my! the Cartel in D.R. is the Navy.

The prolem is that LF has not said a word on the subject. He has not said I will address this, my Govt will do_____________ and ___________. He has let the lackies in the Justice Ministry, who did not do anything before this and the Idiot Generals fix the problem.

I do not beleive that LF had anything to do with it, but he knows who did and who should pay administratively. Navy chief out, Justice chief Out, as he did with DNCD chief.

How can the military fix it, they are he problem and the Justice Dept has known that and done nothiing. Are we to believe that this group was the 1st time they did this.

So, did this guy get the drugs or not! where are the drugs now? what happened to the bag of millions the sergeant who is in custody took? They need to get the drugs and cash in an airtight safe because it's evaporating as every day passes. I can see the trial now: Your Honor, here is a sample (2 grams) of the type of cocaine they stole and this RD1000 peso bill is just like the others they stole.

If you want to see some of the drugs then come to my barrio Ensanche Caonabo in Santiago (near the Cibao Stadium on the side Chidren's Hospital in back of the street beer parlor. When you are on CALLE "A" TRANSVERSAL... then ask for Choppo (Pichardo) who lives up the hill from this street. Show him your money first and ask him or his grandmother for some drugs.

Afterwards, comeback and tell the readers how much you got! There is an abundant supply in the pipeline thanks to the RD Gov, military, DNCD and police who have held it for cooling off and then broke it down into easier to move amounts. The Pichardo family then micro-trafficks these amounts to other barrios through Cibao.

Every now & then officials to and say...."TIGRES GIVE ME YOUR MONEY OR GOTO JAIL"! "No, we do NOT want to arrest you nor take your drugs because we will comeback for more money"!

Everybody knows the deal...well except for US DEA and US FBI ...but other than that everyone knows what's going on.

JD_Dominguez, get a good camcorder and put the video on YouTude.

I would pay to see that.

What amazes me is that more people do not do that and why don't they just FOLLOW THE MONEY. I am sure his grandmother is not putting it under the mattress.
