I was there twice and you could have shot off a cannon and not hit anyone in the aisles. Both times other than the unruly high school kids trying to get free stuff (anything they could beg) there didn't appear to be any activity at the booths. If it was a success, it was so only for the people who rented the space.

You have to understand that Leonel is desperatly trying to find sources of credibility within the DR and outside. It is futile because of all the government thievery if you are trying to even create a small tech company there.

So to see these two politicians signing documentst is only a show.

The Leonel government is on a disaster course and will be doomed to the the archives of history like Hippolito and Balaguer with its conieism and the goverments constant intervention.

Life and reality in Lie-onel's METROLANDIA!

This is mind boggling!

"No Dominican University ranks among the first 4,000 in the world or among the First 200 Latin in American."

Ah, but we have a METRO and that sure is a sign of sophistication, progress and advancement even if our universities do not rank even with outhouses.

¡Eh Pa’lante Que Vamos, no!

I have a 8 year old boy here and I want to cry when I see the education he's not getting, and I send him to a supposedly better private school. If the constitution is to be revised let it include a clause that the greater the crime "against the people" the greater the sentence!! This should include a clause that insures this law includes EVERYONE in the land, no matter the party, no matter the position held, it should in fact be more severe for those high up!!!!!!!

"Stop wasting your lives away, keep negative people and thoughts out of your life... it'll make a big difference'

Tell that to the millions of Dominicans who live in misery because of his governments rip offs and corruption!

Maybe people in DR should think away their problems with positive thoughts. If they think positive long enough the lights might come back on.

The reason you and other KOOL-AID drinkers do not like the post that address reality in DR is precisely because they address reality and not the METROLANDIA Lie-onel would have the world believe exists in DR.

That is why you would like the comments feature to be disabled so the people have no voice to protest this inhuman injustice.
