SANTO DOMINGO.- The public transport drivers are to meet at 9:30 a.m. today in the Teo Cruz Coliseum, with the heads of the Land Transport Office (OTTT) and the Metropolitan Transit Authority (Amet) for the start of the distribution of the Bonogas cards, to use subsidized propane gas in their vehicles.

The Bonogas program’s first stage will benefit 15,000 of the country’s 24,000 public transport drivers, to ease the burden of high fuel prices, and eliminate the generalized subsidy. Each driver will receive a grant of RD $ 5,700 monthly.

The government decided to eliminate the subsidy in September and began a Bonogas program for homes, to help 800,000 families through the use of the Solidarity Card.

How sad it is to see some people pretending to be civilized behave like cave men and spill their visceral hatred for other human beings whether Haitians or not. They are definitely sick in their minds and will remain as such for the rest of their life. To answer them would be to fall in their pattern as I almost did and that I want to avoid for it makes me sick to my stomach. I prefer to follow God's order Thou shall not hate your neighbor and keep trying to improve the relations between the two countries and cultivate the good rapports with my Dominican friends from the most modest to the richest of dominican society as I have a dream that by persisting in that direction will bring positive results sooner or later whether those sick people will like it or not .ADIEU.
