SANTO DOMINGO.- The National Drugs Control (DNCD) and the Navy yesterday seized 104 packages of cocaine transported on a boat at the coast near Juanillo, Altagracia province (east).

Two Puerto Ricans, whose identity were not revealed, were arrested, said DNCD president Gilberto Delgado Valdez, adding that the boat was intercepted at a considerable distance from the coast, shortly after it weighed anchor.

He said the Puerto Rico-registered boat "Dulcinea" (PR-9243AB) was damaged went it ran into a reef during the operation.

The suspects and the drug were sent to the Office of the Prosecutor in Higüey for arraignment.

The suspects and the drug were sent to the Office of the Prosecutor in Higüey for arraignment.............How long will it take to separate the suspects from the drugs so that we will have only suspects ? and more suspects

This is a contradictory statement

"adding that the boat was intercepted at a considerable distance from the coast, shortly after it weighed anchor. '

Dulcinea:
The smugglers sure chose an appropriate name from "Don Quixote" and meaning "elegant sweetness" in old Spanish language.

"Don Quixote finds a true love whom he calls Dulcinea. She is a simple peasant in his home town, but Quixote imagines her to be the most beautiful of all women. At times, Quixote goes into detail about her appearance, though he freely admits that he has seen her only fleetingly and has never spoken with her".
You guys make your own deductions from this info.

From one "ignorant peasant to another ignorant peasant as the Haitian Ton Ton macoute would say,
or as George C. Scott in Patton told the Russian general regarding a vodka toast:
"from one sob to another sob, let's toast"

This drugs will be broken up and pass onto regional distributors and put back into the pipeline. They may be sold in barrios like mine instead of making it to the US. The DNCD is worst than drug dealers and have no code of honor. I have met and talked with regional Jefe's... and it is all about maximizing their wealth. If they know a dealer is moving big drugs and making money then they do not arrest them they shake them down (and send the back out with their drugs to sell more).

Or course, has taken US authorities years to figure out what guys like me on the streets already know.
