SANTO DOMINGO.- The National District Sentencing Judge this morning issued a warrant for the arrest of Bancrédito bank’s former president and vice-president, sentenced to eight years in prison for fraud against the collapsed entiy’s depositors, whose conviction was upheld by the Supreme Court (SCJ).

Judge Saulo Diaz ordered the arrest of Manuel A. Pellerano and Felipe Mendoza, after they refused tp appear before him alleging that the SCJ’s sentence didn’t specify the prison facility where they’ll serve time and how long the incarceration would last.

Diaz notified the Police’s fugitive location department and other law enforcement agencies to carry out the arrest. “It’s ordered that once the present arrest warrant is carried out , the convicts Arturo Pellerano and Felipe Mendoza are to be escorted before the Sentencing Judge for the corresponding legal procedure.”

Yes, more of the same: the dough never appears.

Suggestion to the learned judges: the sentences should submit the right to apply for parole to previous payment of the embezzled money, otherwise, well, stand tall & do it all.

GC, public executions seem to work well in Singapore!! They are held every Tuesday and are free to citizens with a $2.00 admission for everyone else. You can go there and see people hung for terrible crimes against humanity like smuggling cigarettes. People like these bankers should be hung, at least a few of them to straighten up the rest.

What more can you expect from this Pellerano bloke who added 10 seconds and rounded calls up to nearest minute in the beginnings of Tricom. What a crook?

Entrust executions of criminals to the Dominican police now that's the smartest idea I've heard in a while, oh no..hold on there is another one; entrust shooting down airplanes to the dominican air force..... all of these are PRICELESS.

Now let's simplify, entrust the dominican police to execute the sentences on these individuals and let's see how they do?
