Santo Domingo.– Five people, including a mother and her daughter from the United States, were killed and two others injured Sunday in a multi-vehicle accident on the highway betwen Azua and Bani in the southern Dominican Republic, the press reported.

A pick-up truck, a Jeep and a truck belonging to the presidential social relief program were involved in the 7:00 a.m. accident.

The truck was apparently hauling Christmas gifts that President Leonel Fernandez was scheduled to distribute Sunday in the southwestern province of Barahona. The Jeep apparently hit the truck, which then collided with the pick-up truck.

Melissa, I know how hard it is to loose someone who's close to you. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Happy Holidays to You and Your family.

"We must take time, take pains, have a plan, form
spiritual habits, if we are to keep our souls alive; and now
is the time to begin. A man to whom religion is a reality,
and who knows what is meant by 'the practice of salva-
tion/ keeps his balance, because the living center of his
life is spiritual. He cannot be upset, nor shaken. The same
hard knocks come to him as to others, but he reacts to
them by the central law of his life. He suffers deeply, but
he does not sour. He knows frustration, but he goes right
on in his kindness and faith- He sees his own shortcom-
ings but he does not give up, because a power rises up
from his spiritual center and urges him to the best.

TO ALL,
in keeping with the Holiday spirit lets All put our personal beliefs aside for just one moment......And start making our selfs open to those in need this Holiday season. The real blessing is showing compaction and forgiveness to one another. And always remember, do you really mean it when you say "Merry X-Mas and Happy New Year even to total strangers. No one is guaranteed tomorrow, not one. So ask yourself once you leave this Earth.....How do you want to be remembered.....
