Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Customs Agency (DGA) donated 1,000 pairs of tennis shoes and 2,000 t-shirts to Hogares Crea Inc. to be distributed among the persons in rehabilitation programs.

According to DGA sub-director Luis Sanchez, in representation of director Miguel Cocco, "the Dominican law about trademark imitations says the confiscated goods must be donated to non-profit institutions and must forbid the commercial distribution without consent of the brand owner."

My hat goes off to DR Customs for donating to the ones that are trying to rebuild their lives, and maintain their sobriety; Something that many need, yet, they rationalize: " I can stop any time I want to".
Again, Depto. de Aduanas: Fantastico, espectacular, un millon de gracias.
The boys and girls, men and women who sometimes reach rock-bottom and may just own the clothes on their backs really appreciate the gesture; Addiction is a monster; Talk about a monkey on your back?

Eso es verguenza!
Se le agradece de corazon, hermanos!

Wha' pen n' bredah?
Yeah, Man Hogar Crea like in PR, is a therapeutic community, similar to Phoenix House, and Samaritan Village: A chance for treatment for those that want to leave behind the bad habits; But, they work so hard that they need all the help they can get: So, Kudos to Aduanas!

Oye, I see you're back in the USSR!
