It is a lack of decency a blattant show of arrogant parasitismn.
It seems that the whole world owes Haitians a place to wash cars,to beg ,tol oiler in their parks
You have the audaclty , the nerves to get upset because a country decides that enough foerign beggars, chidren washing cars in their mistd
It is a blattand show of political immaturity when no one dare expose and denouce the ladrones who have been million dollars masions in Miami for their sex partners with charity money destined to feed and shelter the Haitian people.
This is displaced aggression when you are attacking Dominicans for telling NO WE CAN NOT .feed your hungry

That's the same question that I'd love to see if jacirez and the other "progressives" have answer for, ettienc. And before they start with their wave of ad-hominems, let me say that, even though I'm not a fan of dictatorships, I have and even more invincible dislike and hatred for anarchy and disorder, which are the very things that the continued presence of those beggars on our streets are representing. To tolerate vagrancy and beggarcy on our streets is almost the same as being willing to pay for the broken dishes of a party in which we weren't invited, and that's a big negative on my book, as far as I'm concerned. And yes, the boricuas, americans and europeans have all the right in the world to send back our ilegals, we don't have the right to tell them what to do on their lands, so they should respect our right to dictate our rules on our land.

They beleive Haitians can go to the Dominican Republic like they would go to Jacmel,Jeremie,Limbe, and Leogane.
The DR is a sovereign country with immigration laws and a constitution.
Sure they are Dominicans soldiers or police that will allow Haitians to enter the country illegally for a fee
But when you start chopping down trees to make chacoal.when you wander in their parks beggin for food, when you are assaulting and killing Domincans, when you become a public nuisance tey have every right to send you back to your country.
And these arrogant parasites keep posting instigating remarks.
Well keep it up !!!!

The REUNIFICATION is going to be like East and West Germany. There will be no border between Haiti and Dominican Republic. Preval and Leonel have already signed the pact. U.S. has offered Leonel some undisclosed incentive to lure him to sign the pact with Haiti. since Haiti was the one that liberated the island from slavery, the new capital of the island will be on Haiti's side. The inhabitants of the entire island of Hipaniola will be called "Haitian" And the new country will be called "United Haiti". The Haitian National Anthem will be adopted under the "United Haiti" country. Then everyone will be happy. There will be no division. The so called "Dominican Republic" will be put to rest in a museum. LOL

This is only the beginning of the mass deportations of illegal Haitians. The goal is to send 500,000
back in 2009.
The rest that will remain will go back on their own free will after their work status dries up and they
will have to return home.
That is the plan.
BTW What madman will ever want to invade Haiti to take over what? A basket case of a country with
an economy in shambles and rampant poverty and indifference by their own capitalists and elite groups that do not invest in their own country because they themselves are afraid?
An a non existent military to provide security and the most corrupt political class in history?
Give me a break, please.

Miloskorac the solution is easy to end haitian illegal immigration. Here's a simple idea that can be implemented 1. Enact in the constitution a law that will guarantee 5% of the annual GDP to enforce the immigration laws, funding for detaining facilities, transportation, and identification of those that break the immigration laws. simply said creating a data base. 2. Erect a wall between the two country's, with security towers and 24 hour c.c.digital cameras/recorded surveillance. Educate and teach the troublesome history of the two country's, and most importantly the problems of goverment spending and environmental and energy issues that uncontrolled immigration represents. Pay handsomely a livable salary with many perks. Like paid vacations paid sick days and free dental and healthcare on the finest facilities in the country. 3. The navy should be assigned the duty of protecting incoming illegal migration by sea and should be given the same perks. CONTINUATION.....

3. CONTINUED,. The army branch of the military should do reconnaissance targetting one province at a time, "OPERACION BLOQUEO" is enforced and incoming and exiting roads are blocked on the particular province, to identify and look for haitian illegals. Through intelligence gathered the sectors of the particular province with large numbers of haitians, are overwhelmed with military personnel then the arrested illegals are brought to the nearest detaining facility to be identified and then transported by heavily secured buses to the dominican/haitian border to then be repatriated back to Haiti. 4. Create an agency that will identify and heavily fine members of the dominican elite in the construction and agro sectors etc, that are exploiting haitians for low wages and wrongful employment. Start a program to hire the national work force to do the jobs that have in many ways attracted the illegal haitian work force, due to the lack of jobs in there native country. CONTINUATION...

Haitians can be an asset too so we must not put a bounty on them.
We can even solve the energy crisis if we bought let's say one million bicycles and put them on a stand connected to a generator and have Haitians pedaling hard to produce electricity with man power.
Since we are accused by Haitians of being cannibals we must not forget the proteinic nutritional value of medium cooked Haitians on a stick as well, for future consumption.
Since we are always reminded by the Haitians of the poor, hard working and enterprising Dominican hookers making a living in Haiti from the Minusthat UN forces at their pleading request because they did not feel attracted to Haitian working girls. These brave Dominican girls putting up with the daily abuse of their Haitian counterparts can be the "First Legion" of defense to gather

You are wrong. Haitians are the poorest of fighters as they can not be taught to aim a weapon with accuracy. I can attest to that. They also have demonstrated very little "testicular fortitude" in the few battles that they have engaged in, except in the few cases where they grossly outnumbered their opponents.
They will be useless as mercenaries unless they could be used as cannon fodder.
Maybe they can also be used as target practice for the real troops, since they are good at running and retreating with great speed like their ex-slave masters the French.

The answer to our problem of haitian illegals and haitians in general can be solved. There's a country in South America called French Guiana. I want all dominicans to start writing letters to the dominican goverment to diplomatically make the case, that France is responsible for Haiti. Afterall the french brought more slaves then what they could of handle, and rebellion took over and they met their fate, that was the past time to move forward. French Guiana is three times the size of Haiti with an extremely low population less then 300,000 people, the country's official language is creole also french. The country boasts plenty of forests and natural resources. Dominicans wake up there's a solution to the problem of haitians and illegal haitians in general. Insctint is to sentiment is what temparament is to character.
The instint (natural reflexes)of Haitians force them to migrate to the Dominican Republic
looking for food
What will make a lot of Haitian to stay home facing hunger and certain death instead of going to Dominican Republic and face the daily humiliations is Nationalism (sentiment and character)
Sentiment and character( Dessalines 1804, Haitian 1804) would trigger a passionate nationanism to dislodge the ladrones and the corrupt elite that have caused so much of Haiti's misery
.
Unfortunatly ,These Haitians who are posting all these tirades attacking Dominicans do not have the sentiment nor the character ( the balls ) to fight the real culprits of Haiti's shortcomings
Well, why don 't we attack the Dominicans for all Haiti's problems ,after all ,aren't Preval, the Prime Minister and all those responsible to improve the quality of life in Haiti Dominicans?

Dominican Republic is a NO-MAN-LAND. It's a confused Nation where the rejects (prostitutes, thieves, murderers, rapists, criminals) from Spain were dumped. The only way the so-called Dominican can find his/her identity is to embrace his/her African heritage.
If Domincans want to feel the great sense of self-worth, identity and gignity that Haitians are so proud of, Dominicans should embrace the African blood that is flowing in their veins.
President Barack Obama was quick to appoint his friend Haitian-American Patrick Gaspard to this powerful position as White House Political Director. Obama is sending out a strong message that he and the Haitians are in charge now.

Schmidt said: "The first ornithologist in the U.S. was the Haitian born John James Audubon. "
From what I have read of him, the reason for him to flee from Haiti would be the very slave rebellion that you're so occupied in praising. In fact, he would lose his mother (a spanish duenna called Juana Ravin) on one of the slave mutinies that cropped up from time to time. So I don't think that he would be proud of associating with the very people culprit for his losing a fortune (his father's plantation on Aux Cayes), so if I were you, Schmidtt, I'd not be so fast in claimming him for the haitian nationality, specially when we take into account that he would never return to the island after the revolution.

According to Smitty and Dominicanation, being born on a land is not enough to win a nationality. Specially when they say that everything that was done on the DR prior to 1844 was not done by dominican hands. How can you hold that reasoning and say with a straight face that DuSable and Audubon were haitians, when Haiti only came into being after 1804? Can you say with me "circular reasoning"? Can we say then that everything done on Haiti prior to 1804 would be done by french hands?

Haiti (pronounced /'he?ti?/; French Haïti pronounced [aiti]; Haitian Creole: Ayiti), officially the Republic of Haiti (République d'Haïti ; Repiblik Ayiti), is a Creole- and French-speaking Caribbean country. Along with the Dominican Republic, it occupies the island of Hispaniola, in the Greater Antillean archipelago. Ayiti (Land on high) was the indigenous Taíno or Amerindian name for the island. The country's highest point is Pic la Selle, at 2,680 metres (8,793 ft). The total area of Haiti is 27,750 square kilometres (10,714 sq mi) and its capital is Port-au-Prince...

By the 18th century, Taíno society had been devastated by introduced diseases such as smallpox, as well as other problems like intermarriages and forced assimilation into the plantation economy that Spain imposed in its Caribbean colonies, with its subsequent importation of African slave workers. The first recorded smallpox outbreak in Hispaniola occurred in 1507.[2] It is argued that there was substantial mestizaje as well as several Indian pueblos that survived into the 19th century in Cuba. The Spaniards who first arrived in the Bahamas, Cuba and Hispaniola in 1492, and later in Puerto Rico, did not bring women. They took Taíno women for their wives, which resulted in mestizo children.[3]

All mens are not equal.
The quotation "All men are created equal" is arguably the best-known phrase in any of America's political documents, as the idea it expresses is generally considered the foundation of American government. Thomas Jefferson first used the phrase in the Declaration of Independence as a rebuttal to the going political theory of the day: the Divine Right of Kings. J
efferson borrowed the expression from an Italian friend and neighbor, Philip Mazzei, as noted by Joint Resolution 175 of the 103rd Congress as well as John F. Kennedy in "A Nation Of Immigrants".
We are all different. Cant be equal as well.

Under your reasoning, then Dessalines should be considered the worst french traitor on history. A thing that can be proven not only by his being under their payroll during the majority of the time that the last leg of the haitian revolution lasted (1802-1804) (and a very handsome payroll, at that), but also by his plotting with his french superiors the deportation of Toussaint Louverture, his commanding officer, and lastly the many crimes that he would commit against the people of his race under french orders, the most glaring of them being the execution, under grievous torture, of the rebels Charles and Sanite Belair. ¿Como te quedó el ojo, pilarín?

To all Haitians please know this
" It does not matter whether people are rich or poor. If they remain enamoured of the past — if they think the past was better than the future can be — they will only regress, not progress. Defending the past is not the best way to advance in the future " (quote from my vast google library)
this exactly why Haiti has become the desert that it is today.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME DEBATING HAITIAN PAST GLORY.
Your present is a nightmare and your future is uncertain.
USE YOUR INTELLECT TO FIND SOLUTIONS FOR YOUR NATION
The topic is 58 Haitians deported by Dominican Republic not how great Boyer and Dessalines were.
You do this because is easier to talk about the past than the present and future of your sorry nation.

the reason why these anti-Dominicans Haitians are talking about ancient history instead of doing real work to help haiti is because they feel hopeless, they feel and know Haiti is a lost case, irreparable. So like a virus, or a parasite, now they need a new host to live from and survive.

It is always a pleasure to read such clear and substantial remarks that reaffirm my hope that there
are real patriots and valiant Dominicans that will defend our country against these nay sayers and
Haitian invaders that live in another world apart from their sad reality.
These invaders have ruined their country and now since they have nothing left over want to
invade and over extend their unwelcome stay our country, like pests infect good healthy crops.
We must fumigate and expel these ungrateful vermin with energy back to the dark hole they came from. If we don't act with strong determination and eject them sooner rather than later, like the locust plague they will reproduce like viruses, propagate the creole language and instill their superstitious voo doo religion on the ignorant masses.

Although, if there is something with which I agree with him is that, if the elites of this country, be it political, military, landholding or clerical, don't abandon their petty and nonsensical venality soon, and the populace keep enduring it without battling an eye lash, then it could lead this country to its undoing in less than a decade. This warning is perhaps the only point on his rants that made any sense at all, if any.

I have great respect and admiration for the Haitian people and compassion for human suffering of both sides of the island.
My loyalty is unquestionably to the Dominican people not Haitians even though "I feel your pain" as Bill Clinton once said.
Haitians should solve and deal with their country's problems and not shove them onto us like they have been doing. Now Haitian Afro Nazis and supremacists have a plan backed by some in the new Obama administration to transfer so MORE of the great burden that we are now paying to the DR and that is not to be allowed by true Dominican patriots.
It is not hatred my friend it is called desperate survival. The DR is barely afloat and we as you know have millions of poor and disenfranchised as well and we can't handle any more from Haiti.

There are military that benefit from the illegal Haitian border crossings and illegal trade that goes on.
We know that.
There are unscrupulous businessmen that hire Haitian illegals and then fire them after a while without paying them because they know that they can not complain and go to the authorities.
We know that.
There are big sugar cane growers and construction companies that hire Haitians because they will work harder and for less money than a Dominican laborer.
We also know that.
A big construction mogul in DR confessed to me that he rather hire Haitians because Dominicans when you tell them to dig a hole when the clock start ticking near lunch time they are looking for an excuse to quit, in contrast a Haitian worker you tell them to dig a hole and if you don't stop them they will get to China digging furiously.
So the government looks the other way because it is not of their interest to stop the exploitation of Haitian manpower, simple as that.

Now regarding the French, Haitians should despise them and the mess they have created by not helping the
Haitians out after they exploited and black mailed them for many generations. Squeezing and
drinking the blood money that was demanded from the Haitian government until there was nothing left for the Haitian people.
If anybody is to blame for Haiti's troubles are the Haitians themselves for capitulating to the French demands and then the French for being so abusive in that order.
Haiti should continue with the demand started by Aristide in the world courts so the French will pay back the blood money extracted by force and their threats from the Haitian governments to compensate for the
Haitian confiscation of the sugar mills and properties of the French colonists after the Haitian independence.

poponlaburra, I also read the comments posted by the Haitian extrimists. They are by no means represent the average Haitians. I do agree with you that there should not be 2 million illegal Haitians in DR and DR is not responsible to take care of the mess Haiti had created. I believe in legal migration and it is the responsibility of the Haitian Government and the Haitian elites to create jobs, schools and infrastructures to uplift the impoverish Haitians. Your "loaded" question is just more of the same, the constant denial and blame pointing useless chatter. The benefit to Haiti would be if they don't pay, is to attract international attention to the matter and maybe be offered other solutions to help Haiti that will be put on the table,

Unfortunatly ,These Haitians who are posting all these tirades attacking Dominicans do not have the sentiment nor the character ( the balls ) to fight the real culprits of Haiti's shortcomings

Haitians will not just put Haiti back on track, they will control the world. Obama will help them to make it happen.
I am not surprised to hear the definition of PRIDE = STUPIDITY. That has to come only from a Dominican. No other nation in the world will define PRIDE as STUPIDITY. You have just confirmed what I have always believed of Dominicans. Thank you.

Care to enlighten us as for the reason, Your Majesty? What is it with you and the term "peasant"? Is it a giveaway about your origins?
I would...but that would be a waste of a perfectly good explanation. Not to mention the innocent killing of several brain cells...

As we're on holidays, I'd understand if you wanted to spend those on a good tequilaso, or a good braguetazo, to boot. So don't enter the mud-slinging if you don't feel the need.

Educate yourself, fella
From what I have read of him, the reason for him to flee from Haiti would be the very slave rebellion that you're so occupied in praising. In fact, he would lose his mother (a spanish duenna called Juana Ravin) on one of the slave mutinies that cropped up from time to time. So I don't think that he would be proud of associating with the very people culprit for his losing a fortune (his father's plantation on Aux Cayes), so if I were you, Schmidtt, I'd not be so fast in claimming him for the haitian nationality, specially when we take into account that he would never return to the island after the revolution.
I did. I hold several university degrees, including a masters...
Bow down, you peasant!!!
He was born in Haiti, was he not?
He was born in Haiti, was he not?"
If Everything is wrong with the Dominican Republic " ASE AL FRITE" ( look for food scraps)
Be proud , Stand TALL and tell the Dominicans WE ARE GOING TO MAKE SURE THAT OUR PEOPLE STAY HOME.
All you do is bitching, weeping , and throwing tantrums like a bunch of little sisies

What part of I DO NOT WANT YOU in my country can't you understand ?
Again, whilte I take pride in my afro-caribbean roots and rejoice at the history of haiti; I am, however, deshearted by the inability of the modern republic of haiti to rise ot its true potential. To be honest, Haiti today is the very definition of a Failed State...That's a Shame.
Hell, by this reasoning Duarte, Sanchez & Mella were not Dominicans either. Can you say with me "Croach of Sh*t"?

I don't think LightOfTruth, knows how to read so you may be spaking to a wall there...
Haiti is today a very important transshipment point for the international drug trade. Seeing how important drug trafficking is to the D.R, Haiti hold great importance...The smell of money trumps just about anything else...
Still. They were Spanish subjetcs...Not Dominicans. Same difference :-))
Pimp this out:
Ickle little Smittikins, if the US is such a land of slavery and discrimination for Dominicans and the D.R such a "glorious empire", why the heck would they be as willing as they are to come here and enslave themselves?
LMAO!!!!
I'm not the one claimming the DR to be a Switzerland, so please, direct your malicious (and way out of base by the way) analogy to your friend Schmidtt. Ok? If something, I have been quite vocal on the fact that the DR can barely face her own problems, let alone the ones of others. And even more so when this other is the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere.
WRONG AGAIN LAUT. You poor excuse of a human being. AYTI has always been AYTI even before Columbus therefore Audubon is a genuine Haitian since he was born in AYITI. Now any so called Dominicans born prior to the date of 1844 are Haitians.
You Campesino Analfabeto!
The point I was trying to make is that despite all the ills the D.R represents to Haitians immigrants, it is still a better option that the abject poverty of Haiti...No different than the reasons many of us have emmigrated to the U.S, Canada, EU, etc.

I don't know about that. They may be busy marrying thier cousins and such :-))
Remember. There are no Tainos in the D.R they were either wiped out by uncle Cristobal Colon..or had the sense to intermarriage the Negros or Spañoles..
You know those who have Taino ancestry are the rightful owners of this land

The mixed descendants of the last Island Caribs(Tainos) who inhabited the Lesser Antilles live on the north-east coast of Dominica. This simple fact has been so exaggerated and distorted over the last thirty years of tourism publicity, that there tends to be much misunderstanding, bewilderment and eventual disappointment among visitors who come to view the Carib Territory as one of the ‘attractions’ of Dominica.

Art. 1. The people inhabiting the island formerly called St. Domingo, hereby agree to form themselves into a free state sovereign and independent of any other power in the universe, under the name of empire of Hayti.
2. Slavery is forever abolished.
3. The Citizens of Hayti are brothers at home; equality in the eyes of the law is incontestably acknowledged, and there cannot exist any titles, advantages, or privileges, other than those necessarily resulting from the consideration and reward of services rendered to liberty and independence.
The Empire of Hayti is one and indivisible. Its territory is distributed into six military divisions.
The following Islands are integral parts of the Empire, viz. Samana, La Tortue, La Gonave, Les Cayemites, La Saone, L'Isle a Vache, and other adjacent islands.

We, Jacques Dessalines, Emperor I of Hayti, and Commander in Chief of the Army, by the grace of God, and the constitutional law of the state, Accept it wholly and sanction it, that it may receive, with the least possible delay, its full and entire execution throughout the whole of our Empire. And we swear to maintain it and to cause it to be observed in it integrity to the last breath of our life.

They were born into an Haitian Colony...I think they're Haitians traitors..."
I sure there are many Haitian citizens that really help their nation prosper
unfotunally none are here on this site to see this bunch of cry babies
talking about ancient history instead of doing real work to help haiti
let's see who is going to argue with this ?
the reason why these anti-Dominicans Haitians are talking about ancient history instead of doing real work to help haiti is because they feel hopeless, they feel and know Haiti is a lost case, irreparable.

Soon we will have to surrender precious Dominican territories to accommodate these illegal invaders with nothing to lose as they are exporting
Generoso stop your bull cr?pt it's so easy to blame some poor folks that their only sin where to have been born in the western side of the island, your simplistic way of looking at the current Haitian problem is very naive for such a complicated and complex problem.
http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=V13ARK9g578
The pleasure is mine. All these feeling were dormant for many years, awakened by some of the comments from some of Haitian posters attacking us and by the fact knowing that too many of them is enough.
Proudtobehatian,
if you read what some Haitians posted, you would completly understand our fury.
We feel for them, and completely understand what they are going thru, but what about our own poor?
Cont….
Let the developed rich nations take care of this.
DR should help by treating the Haitians humanely, but we can not keep a 1.5 millions of them!
With what resources?
We feel for them, we completely understand what they are going thru, but what about our own poor?
PROUDTOBEHAITIAN
If we were on a lifeboat already stressed by being full to capacity would you allow other drowning
passengers to jump in so that the boat will capsize and then all will drown? No.
Great post! Very well said with a great perspective.
I agree the DR as an independent nation should take measure to legalize the status of some, and deport others, however when I see country like france giving DR a black eye the for the treatment of Haitians I see pure hypocrisy at the highest level.
I agree on the reinstatement of the Haitian armed forces as a necessary evil to attain security in Haiti.
Their dissolution and disbandment was a big mistake, just like it was when the US army invaded Iraq and disbanded the Iraqui army sending millions of unemployed soldiers into the streets without a job. Driving them into mercenary actions and guerrilla warfare.
The Haitian armed forces should and must be reinstated soon but better trained to preserve democracy and not be an instrument of political reprisals, coup de etats, dictators and drug smugglers.
I agree with you 100%.
We are being civilized and dialoguing.
Those that choose not to and behave like Haitian supremacists, voo doo warlocks and Afronazis then we must fumigate them.
I haven't abandoned my impartial views completely. However, it would have been a traitorous and downright cowardly act from my part had I simply chosen to stand aside when vermin like Dominicanation and Smitty callously insulted my country at every given opportunity (by calling dominican women prostitutes, domyorks as drug traffickers, etc.). That, my friend, is simply unacceptable in my book. While I'm the first to recognize, and criticize, my country's failings, I'll not stand idly while it's insulted by foolish foreigners in the pursuit of a sinister agenda. There's a huge difference between constructive criticism like the one that illustrious posters like dreadlocks, texasshoe and antonioj (whom I have in the highest esteem) regularly do and another thing is the mud-slinging that the above mentioned swine did. That, my friend, is the difference that you're failing to see.

I taught I was Mr French fried, in retrospect they should have hired madoff do get their money back
There you go again, as Ronald Reagan would say. It is the constant broken record slander talk.
Instead of coming to Dominican internet sites to put the blame on Dominicans and incite Haitian hate,
why don't you instead have the petition that antonioJ suggested translated into Spanish and English for us to sign, to start a movement so that the French will find a way to repay back Haiti for the money they extorted from Haitians. Your goal could be to get 10 million signatures worldwide. After millions have signed it , that my friend would carry some weight to put pressure on the French to stop evading the issue.
Your "loaded" question is just more of the same, the constant denial and blame pointing useless chatter. BTW in agriculture when you start a fumigation policy to get rid of pests you can not discriminate which pests may be eliminated and which may not. All pests that fit the definition are terminated. No exception.
As for you, GC, you don't need to worry, cuz' the fact that I find your jokes at the commies' expense highly amusing prevents me from putting you on the annoying list. Besides, how could I resent someone who also shares with myself the fondness of enjoying a good sandwich from Payan's from time to time?
"
Everybody love GC, great sense of humour... watch out Lautaro, he can be darn serious too
stay away from debating fine food, cigar, wine with him, I forget to mention communism also, make sure you get your facts straight ,or you will be sorry.
As for the santeros, PTBH, I don't have anything against them either. If anything, I'm all for freedom of conscience, as long as the beliefs of the people belonging to other religions don't intrude into my own freedom of choice, that is. Sadly, extremism from all sides seems to be the norm nowadays.
Forget about Aristide being back in power. Is a wet dream. The French dislike him the most.
Also knowing how stingy and selfish the French have been with Haiti I really doubt they could be sued or forced to pay that money. I could be wrong and I hope that I am, but I wouldn't bet on Haiti ever getting that money back. The benefit to Haiti would be if they don't pay, is to attract international attention to the matter and maybe be offered other solutions to help Haiti that will be put on the table,
by France or other countries that are sympathetic to Haiti's plight.
I concur with Lautaro's statements as well.
