SANTO DOMINGO.- President Leonel Fernandez will head tonight the inaugural of Santo Domingo’s Chinatown, which its promoters call "a small piece of Asia in the Caribbean."

The works include two Oriental portals, a walkway of Chinese sculptures and plazas dedicated the master Confucius and to the Chinese Zodiac.

Chinatown’s center is located in Duarte and Mexico avenues.

the Taiwanese government has paid for so much infrastructure in this country that the least we could do would be to clean up and fix the place that they consider their image......they deserve it ....and for us it will be a positive step and a bargain
