SANTO DOMINGO.- Around 10,000 police agents will be in the streets on May 16 to provide support to the Electoral-Military police, said National Police chief Rafael Guzmán on Sunday.

He also complained that judges and prosecutors arrange the release of people charged with committing crimes.

The chief of Police said the finishing touches are being placed on the operations plan for the May 16 elections, to guarantee order and security jointly with the Electoral-Military police.

As far as his criticism against the judges, Guzman said the Police recently filed charges against 100 people different crimes, who were set free by judges and public prosecutors.

it´s all good if all those cops are gonna be on the streets just in case, cause the way is going down now, looks as if something´s gonna happen
