SANTO DOMINGO. - Public Health minister Bautista Rojas yesterday said the Government plans to increase doctors’ wages, although the amount depends on an economic study sent to president Leonel Fernandez. “We’re working and coordinating the manner of application.”

Interviewed by newspaper El Dia, the official said he would meet with Fernandez today, although he didn’t specify the topics to be discussed.

He said funding for the increase must also be identified.
