On the denunciations of the general use of taxpayers’ money in politics, it called on the Government "to show a special sensitivity regarding these subjects, cooperating decidedly and permanently with the opposition in the clarification of all those questions that can be understood as an inadequate participation of the Government in the campaign."

Thanks for your comment!

It amazes me how vile and racist some of my country men can be towards Haitians especially those you have had cosmopolitan experiences and claim to be educated.

Although not acceptable, you could understand theses type of statements from my brothers and sisters in DR who have not the opportunity of education or travel, but from Dominican mulatos living in the US, God do we have a long way to go as a people?

Damn, for once we agree on something, difficult as it is, but well said,
we all Dominicans forget that either we were born white, mulato or black or yellow or green,
we all have that mulato color behind our ears regardless how we were born,
and there is no space for racism or should not be,
I guess history have a lot to do with some people dispising our neighbors, those who grew up and got old in other times.

Well thank you DennisC!

I respect you and all others here at DT, not because what you post or whether I agree with it or not, but rather because of your right to post it.

I honestly do not get offended with the personal attacks on me, even though I may think they are sophomoric at best, but want I can not stand is calls to ban people, or for them to shut up.

To me freedom of expression is sacrosanct!

I honestly also hope you don't get offended for words posted here by me or others, after all,
this are only words, since we don't even know any of us personally, and I am sure, you could perfectly be a great guy to meet.

This is what politics make with people, at times get insensible with words that in normal conditions would never be uttered, but at least, you, myself and others, have this place to voice our opinion in our unending world of political madness. I myself, don't have any favorites, do not belong to any party, and never have been, only want the best that somebody could bring to our country.

One thing though, I despise the PRD, we have had too many bad experiences with them, and perhaps , that same opinion the people of the PLD eventually they will earn it.
