Santo Domingo.- There are fewer complaints of the service provided by the Passports Agency, located on avenue George Washington (Malecon), contrary to other government deparments where they are frequent.

People who were to the Passport office to renew them said the service has improved, though still very slow. Others noted that the higher-priced  VIP  and the normal service are the same.

Public Relations director Manuel Rodriguez said services have improved in four years, with as many as 700 people are served daily.
