SANTO DOMINGO.-The vice president of the Dominican State-owned power companies (CDEEE) on Thursday guaranteed that despite the world fuel crisis and the constant rises in the price of oil, there’ll be no blackouts during the elections of May 16.
Radhamés Segura, in a joint press conference with energy generators, distributors and officials, said "the Government is in condition to guarantee the electricity supply to the nation."
He said despite the population’s complaints of blackouts, the national power system is currently working between 86 and 92 percent and affirmed that there’ll be no increase in the electric bill.
In the press conference together with Electricity superintendent Francisco Méndez, Segura also guaranteed a stable electricity supply after the elections.

Does Segura really beleive his own lies or does he beleive that the general population is that stupid in the DR?
"like it or not you guys are going to have to live another four more years with leonel in power and another four more with his wife in power how those that sounds to you?"
