Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Immigration Agency began an investigation in San Jose, Costa Rica Wednesday, into alleged women trafficking and prostitution in that country.
Dominican ambassador in Costa Rica, Adonaida Medina said, Immigration officials will meet with Costa Rican authorities on the situation, reported on by the Central American country's media.
The Dominican Embassy in Costa Rica said senior Immigration officials will be in Costa Rica to work with Costa Rican authorities on the problems of Dominicans who enter that nation illegally and who exercise prostitution in some tourist resorts.
