Santos Domingo.- Accounts Chamber (CC) judge Jose Gregorio today said a “gossip mill” prevented it from working and led to its fall from grace, during the Senate’s impeachment proceedings against the organism members on allegations of misconduct.  "I believe the Accounts Chamber’s men are people who can react and save it, putting aside the gossip and engage in their work."

He said he has always criticized the CC judge’s constant in the media presence.

The Senators began questioning Gregorio at 9:45 a.m., after he arrived accompanied by his wife and son, who always assista him due to his hearing loss.

He said he hadn’t resigned the post because he’s confident he’ll prove he’s innocent, and denied being the one who planned the controversial wage increase for the CC emembers.
