SANTO DOMINGO. – The Industry and Commerce Ministry today warned the owners of gasoline stations grouped in Anadegas that it could take control of all their pumps if they continue with the plan to create artificial shortages in the local market.
Industry made the warning after Anadegas leaders said that they stopped re-supplying to pressure the authorities to allow them to sell propane gas in their diesel and gasoline stations.
Last week Anadegas president Juan Ignacio Espaillat called on the group’s entire 500-station membership to stop resupplying with fuel from the refinery until they ran out, aimed at letting the authorities feel their weight in the fuels market.
The Government however said disorder won’t be allowed from any sector, and that several laws allow it to take control of the gas stations if they fail to abide by the legal requirements.

The ministry and minister are completely owned by Chevron which is using CAFTA trying to ruin the Dominican bourgeoisie in the oil transport sector and also trying to bust the workers' union and impoverish the union members.
The industry and commerce ministry spits, pisses, and otherwise excretes on Dominican labor and commercial law, touting the US imperialist-drafted CAFTA as the supreme and inviolable law of the Dominican Republic.
At any given meeting with the degenerate industry and commerce minister, a vile imperialist animal, may falsely accuse representatives of the national bourgeoisie and Dominican workers of bribing him.
If prudence is exercised, no meeting with the imperialist scum enscounced in industry and commerce ministry should occur unless the meeting is recorded on video with audio.
