SANTO DOMINGO. - President Leonel Fernandez designated new commanders of the Dominican Air Force, Army and the Transit Authority (Amet), confirmed the heads of the Navy, and the Police in their posts and ranks, and placed 22 others in retirement.
He also appointed Abel Rodriguez del Orbe as the Executive Branch’s legal adviser.
Julio Cesar Joaquin Perez is the new chief of staff of the Army; Carlos Martin Altuna is the head of the Air Force; Rafael Bencosme Candelier, director of AMET, whereas Julio Cesar Ventura Bayonet was confirmed as head of the Navy and Rafael Guzmán, as chief of Police

In the Navy Fernandez placed in retirement the admirals Iván Peña Castillo, Delfín Bautista Arias, Luciano Encarnación Brito and Luis Espaillat Garrido; the Army generals Adriano Silverio Rodríguez, Elvio A. Guerrero Reyes, Garibaldi Castellanos Batista, Fabio Cruz Paulino, Rafael Echavarría Castillo, Jesús Estrella Sadhalá, José Frías Gómez, Nelson Reynoso Ramírez, Francisco Rodríguez Pascual and María Bobadilla Pichardo.
Also retired were the Dominican Air Force generals José Galán Santana, Rubén Gómez Cruz, Rafael Merejo Germán, Agustín Esker Rojas, Jacinto González Bonetti, Manuel Méndez Segura, Néstor Acosta Estévez and Miguel Sención Peguero.

I strongly recommend that from this moment on we all ignore GhouliiishColon's diatribes and rants. After all, his comments are generally insulting in nature, driven by emotions only, devoid of sound reason, and certainly lacking in common sense. For any of you that have read "The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao," GhouliiishColon seems to be the living encarnation of the big loser Osacar Wao who could only survive by hiding behind his computer monitor. I bet you his education level is limited to the 12th grade, does not have a job, and is supported by his parents. While the rest of us with zero IQs, as he puts it, have social lives outside this medium, enjoy healthy professions, have earned MBAs and the likes, and only engage in a format like this in an effort to expand our horizons and perhaps even make a differece.
