SANTO DOMINGO. - A Cuban-American who wanted in the United States on charges of drug trafficking surrendered to Dominican authorities for his extradition to that country, said the National Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) in its Web site on Monday.
Felix Néstor Fonte turned himself in after local authorities learned of his whereabouts, said the antinarcotics Agency. He’s wanted in New Jersey where he was arrested with 12 pounds of cocaine, but managed to make bond and later fled to Dominican Republic and took up residence in the city San Francisco (northeast).
The ex fugitive will remain in the jail at DNCD headquarters until the extradition process concludes.

There is no evidence that these individuals dealt dope, sold people, or cheated US Medicare program or the Cuban health care system when they lived in Cuba before they "defected" to Miami and became US citizens.
The onset of their moral and legal degeneracy seems to have begun after their arrival in the USA.
Nor can you blame their susceptability to moral and legal degeneracy prevalent in the USA on being "Cuban-born" or their early exposure to socialist society in Cuba.
After all, there at least a few US citizens who are not "Cuban-born" and who have never been exposed to socialist society but who nonetheless wallow almost all of their lives in drugs, slaves, and fraud.
