Carlos Rafael Altuna Tezanos.
SANTIAGO.- At least five generals and other officials were given some the lots assigned by the National Assets Agency (BN) in a green area next to the fort Fernando Valerio, near the Duarte highway, and were also distributed among businesspersons and other sectors of power, newspaper Diario Libre says..
It said a total of 56 beneficiaries got lands during the electoral campaign and which the Environment Ministry demanded their return, arguing that they are part of the city’s green area.
A portion of the lands was assigned or sold to the current Dominican Air Force (FAD) chief, general Carlos Rafael M. Altuna Tezanos; ant to the also generals Gustavo Adolfo Jorge Garcia, Paulino Plutarco Medina Gratereaux; the head of the Border Security Corp (Cesfront), Santo Domingo Guerrero Clase, and Carlos Rivera Portes.
The lots, located in Santiago’s Military Club were negotiated and distributed by BN director Elías Wessin Chávez.
Last week Environment and Natural Resources minister Jaime David Fernandez Mirabal led the crews which knocked down the fences with which the lands alleged owners had divided up the lots.

What will the president say when confronted with these facts?
I don't recall having given these lands to the generals, I'll check with my secretary?

This is exactly the sort of "Hanky-Panky" goings-on that are the root of the perception of overt corruption and clientism in theDominican Society.
The question is, just what did these Generals do for the Administration that warrants such remuneration of "public lands"??
This is the sort of demonstration of political power that has brought dowm governments of all sorts in the past.
This sort of greed and vanity eventually leads the ruling segment of a country to excesses andfalse security. Then one day they wake up and are faced with the fact thet what they thought was a secure life has turned out to be a nightmare of retribution from thepeople they thought they had under control.
Think about that all you politicos.

TWO INTERESTING STATEMENTS:
1. "This sort of greed and vanity eventually leads the ruling segment of a country to excesses andfalse security."
Is number 1. refering to the collapse on Wall ST. ?
2.Then one day they wake up and are faced with the fact thet what they thought was a secure life has turned out to be a nightmare of retribution from thepeople they thought they had under control.
Is number 2, refering to the revolt that YALE MBA Georgie Bush is facing from his fellow republicans?
From: United States, Killeen, TX - Home of the 1st Cavalry
No, josean, neither of your dreams are true.
What the statements refer to are the generalities of political phenomenon and their consequences.
Don't take my statements and try to turn them into socialist propaganda or else I'll have to "pounce upon you like a monstrous FROG" and teach you some manners.

Josean;
Please keep your condescending remarks to yourself, or say them to the reflection you observe in the mirror. FYI there is nothing "sensative" to me "these days", nor is there ever.
As to Wall street, well those boys need to have a comeuppance and this "crisis" their greed has caused, with the cooperationof a bunch of equally greedy mortgage holders just might remind them that" what goes around, comes around". My personal feeling is that they'll have to "keep their noses clean" in the future. Our society has been much too permissive in the past. Maybe this will teach a bunch of people a lesson in integrity and honesty. Don't forget that there are plain people involved in an obvious conspiracy to "lay a "smoke screen" on personal income, which is the basis of many of the"sub-prime" mortgages. Both the mortgagor and the mortgagee/ broker share the responsibility in equal measure. Now, both are whining over the mess they have created.

Yes, josean, a lot bigger than you will ever be, since I learned many years ago that pi$$ing contests between adversaries never settle anything and only increase animosity, which I really don't like.
For that reason alone, I have decided to never again answer any of your innuendos.
