SANTO DOMINGO. - Peravia province senator Wilton Guerrero today asked Justice minister Radhamés Jiménez to thoroughly investigate the Bani killings and bring the masterminds to justice.
He also challenged Jiménez to investigate the origin of his assets and his tenure as head of the Dominican Agrarian Institute (1996-1998), where he unleashed the Bahia de las Aguilas land-grabbing scandal.
Guerrero resigned that post after failing to get then president Leonel Fernandez’s political support to indict officials of the preceding administration of Joaquin Balaguer.
He also reiterated the accusation against former Baní Police commander general Hilario González, of protecting drug traffickers.
The lawmaker’s response to Jiménez came in a document he read to the press in his Senate office today, but didn’t respond to any questions. "The hour has come for us to realize the gravity of moment the Dominican Republic is going through,” he said, and quoting the ruling PLD party founder Juan Bosch.

Go easy on the "mummy" if it wasn't for him we would not be going through the nightmare called Lie-onel!
