Among other cases pending in the courts figure the one against ex Dominican State Electrical Companies (CDEEE) administrator Cesar Sanchez, charged with embezzling the sovereign bonds destined for the construction of the Santiago-Santo Domingo electrical highway, and the ex- Air Force officials Virgilio Sierra Perez, Luis Benito Peralta and Eldito Méndez Casanova, charged with selling three military jet turbines in the United States and Colombia.

These clowns are disgusting.
Aren't Dominicans embarrassed enough to do something?
In the US, marijuana is illegal and thus state law can not contradict the Federal law. So, in Alaska if you are caught with this substance you may get a $5 fee and judgment in court (whereas a downtown parking fee is 400% higher). But the state of Alaska is clear that this issue is NOT a big deal and modifies the punishment accordingly to fit the crime.
However, the RD talks big against corruption (especially in the US) but the RD Gov has 2 faces because they actually castrated the anti-corruption area so that it is now more of a figure head than anything else. Whereas Alaska is true to their believes but the RD Gov are hypocrites! Thus, there is a habitual cycle of never-ending corruption!
