SANTO DOMINGO. – Soldiers and antinarcotics agents using Air Force and Army helicopters last night prevented a cocaine airdrop in the zone of Pedernales, forcing to the suspected small plane to flee to into Haitian territory near the border town Elías Piña, said the Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) Wednesday morning.
The unidentified aircraft was spotted over international waters of the Dominican Southwest at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday flying at 158 knots, when it was 76 miles from the coast of that province, the agency said.
The head of the DNCD Rolando Rosado said at 6:03 a.m., 60 miles from Cabo Beata, the plane’s course took it over the community of Los Arroyos where the pursuit began, until it was forced to fly into Haiti, eight miles from the town Bánica.

Here is how the story ends. "since the drug dealers know the other way around which is pay two mules to walk the drugs across the border because by now EVERY body know CESFRONT can't even do a mediocre jobs at controlling the border then the work of the DNCD has to double now to find it on the streets" End of the story.

Soldiers and antinarcotics AGENTS make like $5.00us a month..... why else WOULD THEY CHASE THIS PLANE?..
OK! I KNOW THEIR ARE SOME GOOD POLICE BUT FEW AND FAR APART THEY ARE.
ALSO THE BAD POLICE WILL NOT LET THE FEW GOOD GUYS DO THEIR JOB. FOR THIS KIND OF MONEY THEY KNOW {THE GOOD COPS} THEIR LIVES ARE ENDANGER.

They should shoot them down period. However, the United States won't allow anyone to waste their precious merchandise. I think the Dominican Republic, like all the other countries partnering the US in its false war on drug, either receives its share of the 400 billions worth of the business or they're simply obedient fools like the one sitting in P-au-P.
Don't you worry guys your eyes will open one day, I only hope it won't be too late.

Nahhh, you guys got it all wrong.....these guys neglected to pay toll and that's why they were chased.
The situation will be soon redressed. The tolls will be paid, then everything will be business as usual.
Those darn Tucanos will never arrive and, if they do, they will have guns which only fire blanks-per Obama's mandate! Probably a good thing, however, since DR authorities couldn't ever be trusted, under any circumstances-they are so corrupt!! Heck, they would sell their mothers and make them carry the money or swim across the Mona Channel.

You can say whatever you want boys. The United States will never let anyone shut down more than 500 billions dollars narcotic industry that fuel its stock market and its economy.
They will never allow you guys to shoot their mules plane down.
That poor Helicopter pilot, if it had a least the support of ground base radar, would have known that the real drop has taken place in another location, the only thing is that they won't vector him to the right heading. Why do you think they let him have a stroll inside Haitian territory.
Your lack of deductive brain power is pathetic.

Did Oupala just say that the narcotics industry fuels the American stock market?

I think the DR government SHOULD get into the Drug Business as a matter of LAW.....hear me out. If your crap gets caught in the territorial Borders of the DR, the DR Government will seize the product, test it for purity, and then sell the stuff to the pharmeceutical giants of the world. How many millions of dollars worth of drugs are caught (which begs the question, how many arent caught) in a year, think of what good that money can potentially do for the country.
What is to stop DR from farming Opium like they do in Aphganistan, and selling to the pharmeceutical companies??
I am just trying to think out of the box, because the first two articles or so today say we borrowed US $400M and US $500M from somewheres else.......WTF??!!
