Santo Domingo.- The Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) Wednesday night arrested a Dominican wanted in extradition on a 10 year murder conviction in New York, in March 2001.
Julio Muñoz, a retailer native of La Vega (central), was convicted of murder in New York City but managed to flee to the Dominican Republic, according to a report from Bronx County Court.
The Dominican Supreme Court issued arrest warrant 3177-2009 against Muñoz on May 3, 2001, three months after murdering the victim, whose name doesn’t figure the documents the Justice Ministry sent to the DNCD.
DNCD spokesman Roberto Lebrón said Muñoz will have to be presented before the Supreme Court’s Penal Chamber within 15 days after his arrest, for the court to decide on his extradition.

the BRACE is for one insurance scam.... THIS GUY WAS IN ONE CAR ACCIDENT in santo domingo a few weeks ago and wants to collect big bucks from the insurance company.

I GUESS THE POLICE AND THE COURTS LET HIM WALK OUT THEY KNEW HE WOULD FLEE TO THE DR.... WHO KNOWS....ALSO with this guys face... some retailer he must be... i would not buy anything from this mug..... i wonder what he sold., MAYBE used cars in santiago?
