Granted, the President loves to promote the DR all over the world and it is one aspect of the job he does very well.
However, anyone know just how many nights this year he has spent out of the country?

And Edward, not sexy!!!

Out looking for fools to invest money in a country that hasn't figured out how to provide reliable electricity to its own people yet. I am surprised more investors don't laugh in LF's face. I certainly would. Poor infrastructure and the amount of corruption make even our most beautiful island a horrible choice for any type of honest business deal.

"Granted, the President loves to promote the DR all over the world and it is one aspect of the job he does very well."

Would you be so kind as to give us some examples of CONCRETE results of his "promotions" that has improved the quality of life for the average Dominican citizen?

Leonel is just looking for another "business opportunity" to fill his own coffers.......this man is only interested in himself. He has done almost NOTHING for the poor and the disadvantaged in the Dominican Republic.

Poor women have to bring in their own sheets, towels, bottled water and food when they go to a hospital to give birth. The walls of the birthing room are full of blood splatters, hygiene is lacking, and the doctors are paid so little, they aren't interested in "fixing" poor women so they will not have more children. It is PATHETIC.

Josean,

He has done ZERO, and yet he is supported, because the wealthy in DR are just like him....they only care about themselves, their mansions and their money........

If you are born poor in the DR, you might as well have been poor in Haiti.....no difference.
