SANTO DOMINGO. - The authorities continue searching an airplane in the Punta Cana International Airport (east), which came from Venezuela with three suitcases full of a dust which is presumably heroin.

The plane arrived in Altagracia Province at 8:55 p.m. last night, piloted by Kenneth Méndez and Gustavo Martinez, both Venezuelans.

The Venezuelan airplane registry YV2058 came from Valencia, and National Drugs Control  Agency (DNCD) officials are heading to Punta Cana go to begin the investigation. More information as it becomes available.

in USA they take apart the entire car when the car is imported. The dog could miss some sealed hidden location

Dog don't miss. I have seen them work many times. Can find one match stick in a whole warehouse. Depends on how well they are trained and how much experience they have. In the U.S. we tear the car apart just to piss off the dealers. If a cadaver dog can find a body under water. Believe me finding drugs in a closed plane is easy.

Yea, tear the plane apart so it has no value. that is a real Dominican Response. How STUPID. There are x-rays, dogs, other things that can be used before one tears the wings, seats, tires off the plane.
