Santo Domingo.– An anonymous bomb threat briefly grounded a JetBlue flight that was departing from Las Americas International Airport in Santo Domingo to Puerto Rico, Dominican authorities reported.

According to JetBlue spokeswoman Jenny Dervin, the Tuesday morning flight to San Juan was delayed by 40 minutes. She said she did not know whether the caller had singled out a specific airline or flight at Las Americas Airport in Santo Domingo.

The threat was made as authorities worldwide increase security following an attempted Christmas Day attack on a U.S.-bound flight.

Before you know it we will all have to board airplanes completely naked. I know some of these measures taken are for safety, but that will not deter these terrorists from doing their deed. Going through the screening process at the airport is like a circus dog jumping through hoops. What authorities need to do is to share information, which they already know about thses sickos before it get's to the point of what happened on Christmas Day in Detroit, Michigan. I mean Homeland Security (TSA) and other American security agencies knew about that guy way before all this happened, but somehow the information fell through the cracks and now they want to point fingers like if thats going to solve anything. Just correct the problem, put measures in place so it won't happen again and stop making the lives of air travelers that much more hectic and unpleasant.
